The pleasures of this world can never delight God,it's provoking that many Christians fail to comprehend worldly enthusiasm and godly pleasure.With this desensitization, the love of Father cannot be in them,Paul wrote to 1Corinthians6:12 telling them everything is good but it is not lawful and they had not to enslave theirselves to the things of world because Satan is the god of this world.For the pleasures of the world are; sex,money,well off life,secular music,drunkness, lust of flesh etc and thirst for all that stuff can never be quenched without abandonment.Christians ought to find their pleasures in serving Jesus and doing what is right in His sight.Ephesians4:18 tells us that having our minds darkened by things of this world,we are alienated from the life of God.This means friendship with the world or pleasures in it creates a gap (enmity) between us and God.
