Sluggish Cognitive Tempo also known as Concentration Deficit Disorder is an intellectual disorder, an anomaly characterised mainly by distorted concentration and significantly low level of speed and accuracy in thought processing, frequent and easy loss of train of thought, etc. It is a condition characterized by lagging in cognitive processing. It is also characterised by an unusual level of slow speed in taking cognisance of one's environment/situation - a quite unusual level of slow speed in intellectual, emotional and psychological growth/development. I dare not mention social because people dealing with Sluggish Cognitive Tempo alias Concentration Deficit Disorder barely have a social life. That does not of course mean that everyone with a poor/non existent social life is dealing with SCT/CDD. Most people with this condition
