ASUU Begins Nationwide Strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has declared an indefinite nationwide strike.

According to the organisation, the strike is to protest the poor funding of Nigerian universities.

Led by its National President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, ASUU declared the strike at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in Ondo State.

All academic staff of universities were directed to withdraw their services immediately.

What rubbish is this? I just pray and hope this isn't true cos if true then these animals in human clothing are simply being driven by their selfish desires and most likely serving as paid political tools in the hands of corrupt money bag politicians.
Anyway I just pray we have a split in the union this time around so other branches do not comply with their selfish strike notice.

Total economic shutdown. That's the language the govt. understands
