• Aviation workers, others to join strike Tuesday

The Nigeria Labour Congress has said it will no longer enter into any negotiation with the government on a minimum wage for workers.

NLC, which is one of the umbrella bodies for workers, made the position of labour known on Sunday, even as it declared that workers would commence a nationwide strike on Tuesday as scheduled.

Labour Strike: Buhari Begs NLC

…says labour should consider the rot he inherited

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday appealed to the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress to consider the rot his administration inherited.

Buhari made the appeal when he received members of the Association of Retired Career Ambassadors of Nigeria led by Ambassador Oladapo Fafowora at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
