The last 2 European finals Liverpool have played, they've lost to Spanish teams. Sevilla in the Europa league final of 2016 and Madrid earlier in the year. So yes, I'd bet on the top 4 in Spain to beat the top 100 in England and smile to the bank. English teams are no where near their Spanish counterparts. It's time you pour some cold water on yourself and get rid of your colonial hangover

that's because the greatest players simply don't go to England. EPL has only produced balon dor once (in 2008). LA Liga has produced the balon dor for the last 10 years. Ronaldo never played in England, ronaldinho, zidane, Iniesta, Gattuso, Del Piero, Neymar. These players can only play in EPL when they are just starting their career or when they just want to go and make money not because they want to play the highest level of football.
