While this is a ego boosting news for people associated with that school, it doesn't translate to automatic positive impact for the society.

Most of these men passed the test of learning bit failed the ultimate test of character and morals over their lifetime.

Most of them couldn't change themselves positively ( cultism ) let alone the society. So let's not confuse that with positive change.

The most funded public university in Nigeria and still the least performing first generation university.

ABU and Uniben are the only first generation university without a profile on Times Higher Education database.

What a shame.

Google 'UNN alumni' and have a look at the array of renowned cum cutting edge researchers, shrewd business individuals, trailblazing entertainers, quite honest politicians, and world changing personalities that that great citadel of learning has produced... The school has been associated with brain box who have impacted on the world positively.
