Overview 
Peter Akinola Foundation Youth Centre for Industrial Training is a Technical & Vocational Education Training (TVET) Institute established in 2010.The mission of the Youth Centre is to economically empower youths who are at the crossroads of life by training them in life changing vocational courses. The Centre now requires the services of a RESIDENT INSTRUCTOR FOR THE CATERING DEPARTMENT, who shall be responsible for teaching the Trainees in the Catering and Hospitality Department.

Location 
KM 10, Abeokuta – Lagos Expressway, Obada, Ogun State.

Full Time

Desired Qualification
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree {BA, B.Sc, B.Ed. (Tech) in Catering with London City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate. 

Minimum Required Work Experience
Preferably an holder of the above qualifications with Five (5) to Ten (10) years experience as an Instructor in a Technical/Vocational Institute.

Age Requirement
Applicant must not be above the age of Fifty (50) years.

• Teach Trainees using a systematic plan of lectures, practicals, demonstrations, discussion groups, laboratory work, case studies, field assignments, independent or group projects both in Classroom and on site.
• Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outline for courses 
• Prepare, administer, mark tests, grade examinations and prepare to evaluate Trainees progress
• Update their learning on current Catering Trends and developments.
• Co-ordinate, monitor and oversee the activities of Trainees at the Youth Centre
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Management of the inventory sub-ledger and general ledger
• Management of inventory holding levels
• Inventory costing and standardization of costing methodologies
• Monthly Stock Count, valuation and reporting
• Reconciliation of Cost of Sales Analysis and manufacturing cost
• Determination of stock adjustment requirements
• Development of inventory aging and inventory days reports
• Determination of landing cost, product cost and margin analysis
• Provision of inventory financial inputs to forecast and budget models
• Providing support to the supply chain team on inventory planning and controls
• Accounting for Stock Movements and Diagnose the Cause of Inventory Variance
• Developing of Inventory report in a timely manner for management use
• Daily update of inventory and fixed asset records in the company’s ERP
Responsible for fixed asset tagging and verification exercise
• Maintains and align fixed asset register with the GL balance

EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
• Minimum of HND/B.sc in Accounting or related discipline
• Professional qualification is required (ACCA, ACA, ICAN, CIMA)
• 4 years’ stock/inventory accounting experience with at least 2 years in manufacturing

REMUNERATION
• Monthly Net Take Home (=N= 300,000- 400,000),
• Other statutory benefits.
