Without prejudice to the condolence messages the late family of former Board of Trustees, BOT, Chairman of the Peoples Democractic Party, PDP, Chief Tony Anenih is receiving from left and right and from all sections of Nigeria.

I want to say that Chief Tony Anenih and his generation of political leaders corruptly enriched themselves to the maximum leaving crumbs for the coming youth of Nigeria.

The looting of Nigeria treasury at the federal, state and local government level witness unprecedented TOTAL EMPTYING of the nations treasury for a period spanning 16 years.

Politicians that came into power after the end of military rule in 1999, abuse the political priviledges given to them and they defile and violated their oath of office by stealing from our COMMONWEALTH.

With the subsequent drop in the price of crude oil in the International market, Nigeria is now faced with a bleak financial future with increasing unemployment rate.

But sycophant are busy jumping up and down, crying crocodile tears for a man popularly referred to as MR FIX IT.

After destroying the country economy for total 16 years, the same PDP is still repackaging themselves under another corrupt presidential aspirant to take back power from the ruling APC leadership.

Nigeria is now at a crossroad between two fulani born presidential aspirant whose academic credential are average.

My brother hopefully you were born before 1999. You may not understand some of this things I will say now if you are a very young person.

You referred to how PDP politicians looted the economy after 1999 and PDP wasted 16 years doing nothing in this country.

Your words give some of us the opportunity once again to share on events in this country pre and post 1999.

Do you remember that Nigeria became an independent nation in 1960? Between 1960 and 1999 we had 39 years. Did you reason what happened to the economy for 39 years? In between we had some years of civilian rule in the 60s and 1979 - 1983. What happened to the economy all those years? Did the country develop and if it did how? Why did those in charge not put us among the best nations on earth? Have you heard about Malaysia and Singapore that were in the same situations then?
Why will you not hold the military and politicians before 1999 responsible for failing to develop the country. Nigeria has been existing since 1960. Why cut off 39 years and blame one party for wasting 19 years. The older generation of politicians of today across all parties were part of the 39 years that you have cut off.

Obasanjo/PDP took over from the military in 1999. Remember that political parties were formed with leaders in different parties. Those in the APC/CPC/ANPP/Npdp of today were governors/senators/ministers/leaders/local government chairmen and councillors in those years. What development strides were experienced in their states? Look at Lagos, Katsina, Yobe, Kebbi, Nasarrawa, Plateau, Kogi, Kano, Sokoto, Ondo, Osun, Zamfara, etc, territories controlled by the opposition parties of those 16 years. What can you point at as positive changes that impacted the lives of the people? How did they help the economy then? If PDP wasted 16 years at the center will you say those states were developed by the present APC leaders then? They did not waste?

Bros with benefit of hindsight not much was achieved. With PDP at the center for the 16 years you talked about the so called opposition then was not hindered from working in their states and areas. They all looted the accounts of their respective states and have become what they have become today. Before Tinubu became the governor of Lagos state did you hear of any factory/industry that he owned? Before Amaechi became governor of Rivers state he was PA to governor Victor Odili who brought him up. Today those men possess stupendous wealth. What about Fashola, a lawyer and chief of staff to Tinubu?

When you talk about 16 years of wastage remember to include all that held positions in various parties and states and not just the PDP.

PDP took over in 1999 with oil prices revolving between $23 - 30. In his first 4 years Obasanjo made effective use of his presidency. Today you enjoy GSM phones, your money is safe in the banks, banks became more secure, you get alerts, etc, drugs became regulated, EFCC/ICPC established to tackle corruption, exchange rates stable, food prices stable, etc.
Obasanjo left Nigeria airways with 42 aircrafts in 1979. None was left by 1999. MDs of Nigerian airways looted and are members of APC today.

Bros accusations must be balanced and not myopic. Issues must be looked at without bias. The truth is that in 3.5 years a party that promised change overnight has failed even the fundamental tests. We still bore the pain and understood with them, yet we have not moved economically forward. Even an APC current finance minister has blamed her own government for errors with judgments. Why then call "kettle a pot"? Our youths keep running away in their hundreds daily. No peace everywhere. Trust destroyed. Herdsmen raping and maiming. Abi e no happen for your village? Kidnapping, bombing and shooting everywhere. APC said voting PDP back will return us to 2009. Is it not better? At least we had peace, food was cheap.

My advise to you is to shine you eyes. Do not be deceived. Do not allow yourself to be used to deceive others. Let these bad luck people go away and let this country have peace again.

I doubt if there's any good news concerning this man. The bad legacy speaks more louder than any good one by Late chief Anenih.
