Two students of Benue State University were reported killed during a rival cult groups' clashes in makurdi,the state capital.

The first incident,according to a witness,happened on Tuesday around High Level in makurdi where a 300 Level student of the university was said to have been shot dead around 8pm.

The second incident happened directly opposite the second gate of the university where a 400 Level student of Theatre Art of the same university was gunned down.

The incident was said to have heightened tension in the area leading to traders scampering to safetey.
