Nigeria political elites lack morality in leadership. They see the public fund as a veritable source of livelihood. This is because the greater number of those who hold elective positions lack the creative wit to survive outside the public purse.
The Nigeria Senate has become the retirement place for many State Governors. This seems so going by the number of one-time governors who have flooded the Senate. Many more are still coming, raising the question of credibility and morality amount these folks.

Interestingly, it is funny to see a Governor whose only achievement is bleeding the treasury of his state making his way to the Senate. To perform what magic? You may ask. They are not there for what they can give, but for what they can continue to take away from the system. Nigeria system has been dotted with the same recycled failures.



Since independence, these unpatriotic elements and opportunists have dominated the political landscape. Do you wonder why the fortune of the nation keeps plunging? The answer is not far-fetched. These men have simply tested failures who can never be trusted with leadership in saner climes.
