PRESS RELEASE

The last Three and half years have been the most trying in the history of the Federal Republic of Nigeria especially in the areas of insecurity, economy, Press freedom etc.

The present government came into power on the premise of integrity, promising to fight corruption to a standstill, but unfortunately, we have witnessed more corruption in President Buhari’s Government than any other government since the inception of the Fourth Republic.

Nigerians from all walks of life came together and voted Mohammadu Buhari into power as the President of the most populous black nation of the face of the earth.

However, trouble began when Nigerians started noticing that Mr. President was not ready to keep any of the promises he made during his electioneering campaigns, rather, President Buhari legitimized nepotism, sacrificing standard, merit and professionalism on the altar of mediocrity.

Nigerians have watched their dear country grow from bad to worse, bringing untold and avoidable hardship on the people both at home and in diaspora who came out in their numbers to vote out President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 because he was seen to have lost grip of the country. More than anything else, Nigerians in a bid to preserve the togetherness of our dear country, rallied support in favour of the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari…as it appears, that was the greatest mistake of this generation.

In view of the forgoing, we, represented by the undersigned under the auspices of UNIT2UNIT INITIATIVE USA Chapter hereby declare our support for His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, His Excellency Peter Obi.

We therefore have decided in our capacity as Nigerians who are concerned and involved to donate in line with the Mmorandum and Article of Association of Unit 2Unit Initiative, a token of Three Dollars each to support Atiku. To this end, we wish to introduce ‘’THREE DOLLARS FOR ATIKU USA’’.

By this decision, we reject in totality President Mohammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress –APC; which have brought nothing but hardship and abject poverty on Nigerians. We also use this medium to alert the United States of America, the United Nations and indeed the entire world to some statements credited to some APC chieftains in Nigeria where they made it very clear that even if the Presidential Election is won by Atiku Abubakar, APC will not relinquish power.

We therefore enjoin Nigerians to be law abiding in the discharge of their duties as we count down to the 2019 Presidential Elections.

Long live Unit2Unit Initiative!
Long live the PDP!!
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!

It's not because he can't go, it's the reason why he can't go to America, but of course, you don't have the brain to reason anything
