Former vice president and Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said that calls by some secessionist group in Nigeria may likely come to an end if everybody is treated with fairness, equity and justice.

The former VP made this known during a chat with The Africa Report on Thursday.

“I don’t think there is any part of this country that wants to leave this country. All they want is fairness, equity and justice,” he said.

Atiku, who also bare his mind on the challenges confronting the nation, revealed how his government will tackle the problems if voted into power.
