2019 Election, A Forgone Conclusion For Apc by sunnyp20(m): 7:13am On Nov 18, 2018
After carefully analysing every single election conducted since APC came to power, I have arrived at the conclusion that 2019 polls is a forgone conclusion in terms of APC retaining power.
This position is not premised on the fact that APC have done anything to deserve the anticipated victory but it is based solely on the fact that APC is willing to go to any lengths to make sure their agenda come to fruition.
I can say without any iota of doubt that PDP did not only lose the 2015 election simply because Nigerians rejected them (that is also one factor) but also because Goodluck Jonathan was a conscientious being who was not willing to acquire power at all costs.
But the same sadly cannot be said about the APC. In all the post 2015 election, it is glaring we are witnessing rigging and voter intimidation on previously unimagined scale and that fellow compatriots would be the decider come 2019.
What we are witnessing is a dictator dressed in the guise of a democrat who is unhindered by a toothless legislature ,encouraged by a spineless judiciary and supported by a group of people who is bent on maintaining their close proximity to the appropriation machinery thus, do not care how their agenda is achieved hence it is achieved.
The heart wrenching thing is that we cannot do anything to stop it because no one can argue with the barrel of a gun.
