A little review into the Nigerian society shows that a lot of Nigerian's hardly trust people with their food. However, we also realized that this is changing especially in the Island axis (Victoria Island, Lekki, Ajah, Ikoyi etc.) where people now freely allow smoothies, juices, salads and food from restaurants like Lydia's Place, Jevnik , Domino's etc to be delivered to them right at their desks in offices during lunch time.

With this growing trend, this could be a viable venture to go into. The market is huge! Especially since:

i.Restaurants have to pay/subscribe to be on the platform and;
ii.The buyers of the meals/food have to pay to get their food delivered.

Money is split between the App owner and the delivery personnel.
Some of the conditions include the fact that a lot of restaurants have to take their businesses online/digital. So that people can place orders and pay for the meals through their phones, and the restaurants can receive the orders and work on it. In doordash when the food/meal is ready, the restaurants click on their app to indicate this to the driver, who then goes to pick it up and then delivers to the ordering customer.

I have thought about something like this but not in the locations you mentioned. Jumia Foods is doing something similar, what are your thoughts about it

First...I'll say I watch lots of American movies.

Before I took up freelancing, I was so much into movies and books. I naturally picked up common American phrases.

When I started off with up work...my first few contracts where all bad as I wrote with the regular Nigerian English style..using lots of inappropriate.. Or rather words that couldn't fit into the American sentence.

I knew i had to develop my skills so I watched lots of YouTube videos to learn more about the American style of English.

I also make use of writing software to help me get ride of filler words.

Finally...I read lots of blogs and articles written for the American audience... Joined reddit and Quora to learn more about their writing styles.

Now I can fairly write like an American... Am not that perfect but am improving with every article I write.

Tip: I use common American phrases when chatting with my clients...this way they believe I am native English raised in the states.
