Eye contact is a form of body language which is important during communication. The old saying that “eyes are a reflection of your inner self” holds true in most cases. Eye contact is the important aspect of the candidates, but you should not stare fixedly at the interviewer. Maintain eye contact in a natural and friendly manner, which means that there are brief breaks and reconnection. Practicing good eye contact is a skill for effective and vital communication. Just be sure to give another firm handshake, a smile, and eye contact once the interview is over!
