So I'm really pained. I am a highly mobile kind of businessman but I have my family stationed somewhere in the North West. I send my silly wife a six figure monthly upkeep to ensure she takes care of the home properly. I got home a few days ago.

Today, she went out and I decided to go prepare some boiled rice and beans for the house. Can you believe that this woman does not have ordinary salt and vegetable oil in her kitchen? Women can be so unreliable and incompetent I tell you. This is all the work she does and she can't get simple salt in her kitchen.

Should I just divorce her? I hate incompetence. I need advice from y'all. Stupid or not. I don't give a frigging rat's arse!

. Your post said so much about you: an abused child with a poverty stricken background. It is so sad that you are yet to outgrown it.

I'm really sorry for your wife!!. Why not buy the salt and vegetable oil. Instead of doing that, you ran to Nairaland to whine about common salt and vegetable oil.

By the way you didn't include how much you give her monthly.

Biko go ahead and divorce her, I'm sure she will be better off without you... Metchwwwwwww

From the way you spoke(misogynist),only the heavens know what the lady must have passed through in your hands(you sounded so disrespectful and like someone that has no single regards for women).
Just so you know,i spend six figures monthly just to handle my logistics(typing from a hotel room)as a single man so i wonder what in the world you are talking about undecided

Lol. Talk to her bro. It's not a serious problem. Divorce is only when adultery is involved. Separation is advisable when there's threat to life. So, just talk to her. Express your feelings.

You want to punish your wife? And who punishes you when you mess up? Or are you saying you don't mess up?

Only a mad man punishes his wife for an error. She's your body. You're two are now one. if you punish her for a little thing as salt, and God wants to start punishing us for every damn little mistake, who will remain alive?

Well, u have a point but yet lets ask ourselves a critical question. If she constantly cooks in that kitchen, do u not see anything wrong that there is no salt. Lets be realistic, this guy mentioned that he gives her 6 figure value monthly for upkeep. Its something to be worrisome. If something as common as salt is not available in the kitchen, u can imagine what else would be lacking in that kitchen. Dont rush to tackle the guy. Although i dont see why that should be a basis for divorce but still it shows the lady's nonchallant attitudes and a lot can be drawn from this.
i will also like to ask you a question too.
Let's say you are the wife and your husband works away from home,it is very logical that as a woman who might probably be taking care of just herself and/or kids won't need that much food, hence the shortage of some of these items!
How do we even think these stay at home wives end up with savings?it's through avenues like these.
He never mentioned where he asked the woman about the foodstuff and the next thing we hear is divorce angry
This guy has a very manipulative sidechick and needs someone like me around to knock him back to reality should he go astray!

Dear Mr. Six figure monthly Husband. You are too competent and articulated that you want to divorce your wife because she had no salt in her kitchen when you went looking.
If I may ask, 1. Have your generator/car ever run out of fuel/engine oil and you didnt remember to buy or didnt buy just enough?
2.Has their ever been a time when you needed to make an important phone call late in the night and couldnt because you have low airtime and had forgotten to buy?
More important, Were your kids looking malnourished and unkempt when you sae them suggesting that your "soon -to-be-divorced" wife wasn't feeding your family or was using your six figure monthly to only take care of herself?
If you can answer yes to either question 1 or 2 then you should be thankful your wife hasnt divorced you yet because those were your own "salt cans" going out.
You live far apart from your wife. She doesnt get your presence whenever she needs that.
You not there to make love to her and provide to other of her needs whenever she wants, reason enough for any woman to forget buying salt and even forget herself, yet she still tolorates you and the marriage, yet you want to divorce her for a can of salt.
No disrespect bro. But I bet some teenagers manage relationships better than you handle your marriage situation. Or WAS LOTS WIFE IN THE BIBLE YOUR EX BRO?
