The senator representing Anambra North, Princess Stella Oduah has been praised to high heavens for her continuous charitable work for the men and women who come in contact with her. The women described Stella Oduah as God-sent who has not withheld help from anyone in need even when she didn’t have political power.

Stella Oduah had set up an empowerment initiative that has seen over 8000 women in different areas of her constituents learn practical skills in Wig making, Confectioneries, Cosmetology, Decorations, make-up artistry, Gele tying and many other skills. She went ahead to financially set up some more women who have shown dedication and commitment to what they have learnt.

The Senator has taken it a step higher by calling for men to apply in their hundreds for a first of its kind Information Technology training in her constituency. The men will be trained in various IT skills they can use to generate legitimate income. Many of them will be financially empowered as well.

Anambra women ambushed the senator just to sing her praises and appreciate her for all the good works she has done and continues to do.
“Stella Oduah na man, she no be woman. She has brought plenty joy to the women and men of this community. She empowered my daughters and they have now become responsible women of the society. They no longer depend on me financially because they now earn a living from the skills and financial assistance Stella Oduah offered them. The day my daughter told me to stop giving her food money because of the empowerment she got from Stella Oduah, I could not help but cry. It was tears of joy. I can only pray that my God will bless her powerfully and help make her a Senator again because this is the kind of thing politicians should be doing. The surprising thing is that she has been doing this even before she became a politician,” Adaeze Chukwuma said.

Stella Oduah has been known to be philanthropic in nature to both men and women in her immediate area of influence. She has constructed multiple roads, fixed electricity, empowered thousands of women in vocational skills.

In Stella Oduah’s response, she revealed that her interest in politics is premised on the fact representation is about empowerment. If the people who represent us are not empowering us, they are time wasters. The PDP senator reiterated her commitment to serving her constituents through empowerment, youth development, youth welfare and youth training.
