The crucial meeting between the federal government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, which was held this evening, has again ended in deadlock as both parties have failed to arrive at a common ground on improved funding for universities in the country.
This comes in a just concluded meeting between the government and union held today behind closed doors at the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja... It obviously ended without a resolution.
National President of ASUU, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, briefed reporters at the end of the meeting which lasted over three hours and presided over by the Minister of Education, Mr Adamu Adamu.
He said the meeting to resolve the over three weeks industrial action would continue at a later date.

What is wrong with this Government why can't they put smiles on Nigerians for once must they continue to bury Nigeria in sorrow, This same Adamu Adamu who is the Minister of Education now is the same person that protested and ask ASUU not to call off the strike untill the Federal government meets all there demands now he is at the centre of discussion for the same FG why is it hard now for FG to meet ASUU demand APC and hypocricy, that was how the other one said that any serios government will fix power in 6months and is 3 years plus rather power has dropped from what it used to be.
