Mohammed Salah is favourite to scoop the CAF Player of the year award for the second time in a row after an impressive debut campaign with the reds last season. His 44 goals in all competitions, one of which (vs Everton) guaranteed him the FIFA Puskas Award is no mean feat. This coupled with the fact that he made the three-man shortlist for the FIFA player of the year award makes him an overwhelming favourite.
