Sagamite:lets just agree to disagree. we are on opposite spectrum of the ideological scale. you are an unpatriotic, self-righteous, arrogant, cretinous, hypocritical, and cantankerous blow-hard while i am a patriotic, realistic and non-judgemental kinda fellow. |

Hi peeps, I missed the match as I had to start out 10hours from London to Houston. Just arriving to find out it's all over. From what I see on the thread, it looks like we deployed defensive tactics and slipped up twice due to defensive errors. I wish the girls the very best in the future. Hopefully they will be motivated to stay together and NFF will groom them to gradually take their places in the senior team. Congrats to the girls and God bless Nigeria. |

buzugee: No, lets describe it as: I am a sagacious and lateral thinking genius with progressive patriotism and Soyinka/Mourinho brilliance traits, while you are a myopic, half-witted, regressive, fraud-promoting dunce with retarded, Alao-Akalistic (with a sprinkle of Adedibism) patriotism. |

I can't condone age fraud which Nigeria practices. I support the women because I love my country but we all know these women are older than 20. Teams like Germany would take their girls to the women.s world cup multiple times and be better off for it whereas Nigeria won't. A close friend of mine was in a soccer academy with some of those players and said some of them are up to 28 years old. No reason for her to lie to me. |

is it jus me or do those germans look like steroid dispensers?, they shud test them for designer drugs, that said i am so proud of these girls, I mean, it was when I saw that pomo/blanket of a boot Ukaonu was wearing that i understood the magnitude of the odds they faced, I LOVE THEM , for being true to the Nigerian spirit, nothing was in their favor, not even their home country- judging from these posts, I have always been a fan of female football, this girls just made me a fanatic, wish I had tonnes of cash to throw their way, |

I have no doubt in my mind that any of the German girls in their U20 team is actually less than 20 years of age. If that same team had been a Nigerian team, a number of Nigerians would cry wolf- insinuating that the players are actually older than 20. In particular, they would point to players such as the tournament's highest goal scorer, Alexandra Popp and the goalkeeper, Almuth Schult both of whom look older than 20 because of their rugged looks. I clearly heard the commentator of yesterday's match say that most of the German girls are presently university undergraduates. What do you expect a university undergraduate to look like? I have heard a number of people insinuate that our own players are older than 20. When going for a competition of this nature, you choose girls based on their skills and toughness. This is not a game for weaklings. It is not a beauty contest. Popp is currently a member of the German full national team. If she had been a Nigerian, that would have been another source of wahala I have attached pictures of Popp here so we can see what a 19 year old german girl looks like. Take a good look at picture 2 Take a look at nos 1,6,11,19,20 of the German team. They are all under 20 years of age yet they look more mature than that!

Our girls really tried more than even their best. we are all being optimistic there is no way we could have won the germans girls. they are fit physically and they got more strength than our girl. We did well for conceding just that two goals. we have a better record against them as far as this competition is concern. Thumb Up Falconet i celebrate you girls. |
