Verdict: one season is not enuff to compare him with a soccer god like Messi

Messi on the other hand single handedly won U-20 for his argentine your team
was part of the olympic winning team
helped Barca to a UCL title
was the highest goal scorer in the world last season

is unfortunate to be a member of a cursed national team.

Since Messi success is solely down to Xavi and Iniesta, I would expect Ibrahimovic to be scoring 100 goals a season from the same supply line. . . . Even Eto in his pomp never managed more than 36 goals. . . compare with Messi's 46 goals. . . and Messi isnt even an out-and-out striker.

Some peeps just get carried away with World Cup and start yarning opata anyhow. . . . thats only 7 games in a 60 game calendar. . . . and besides, Messi was still the best player for Argentina in the World Cup.

Robben should try playing matches with 3 players marking him all the time, lets see his quality.

Are you sure that you actually watch football? Dont get me wrong Robben is pretty amazing but do you really watch both of them for club and country and come to the conclusion that Robben is a better more consistent player? really?

Robben would have made himself easily greater than Messi had he scored those 2 sitters he missed against Spain!

quite frankly, Messi performed better than Robben at the world cup. Messi was only behind Asamoah Gyan with most shots in the world cup and he really forced the goal keepers to pull some great saves. Messi was a one man army. Its only unfortunate that he found himself in a team that just weren't it and he couldnt find the back of the net.
