Akwa Ibom with Gov. Udom Emmanuel led administration has moved the people from farming to Agri-business and making food available to the people at a cheaper rate.

Agriculture revolution in the state require support products and services. Taking-off of the coconut refinery project in Ikot Abasi federal constituency was signalled by the signing of a partnership agreement with H.O. Oil Food Consulting Limited of South Africa and the acquisition of 5,000 hectares of land for the planting of coconut seedings.

With the establishment of a coconut refinery, Akwa Ibom is poised to revive this boasts one of best flavours of coconut.

The industry greatly influence the development in the area and the state at large, it will empower our people, strengthen them economically and will build up the area and ultimately reducing poverty. With Gov. Udom Emmanuel, the coconut industry will improve the living standard of the Akaw Ibom people by providing gainful employment, social responsibility and stimulating auxiliary economic activity.

During the 2015 election campaign tour in the 31 Local Government Area of the state, Mr Udom Emmanuel promised to create jobs and empowerment to the people through his industrialization agenda. And have fulfilled his promised, he demonstrated remarkable zeal and speed on fulfilling this promise of industrializing the state through agriculture. With the development in the coconut plantation, Akwa Ibom will make more income to the state.

Mr Udom Emmanuel with the business of agriculture is in the right direction, moving Akwa Ibom State from a culture of agriculture to the business of agriculture to make Akwa Ibom State self-sufficient.

Mr Industrialization has proven that the best way to predict the future is to invent it. We the Akwa Ibomites are blessed to have Mr Udom Emmanuel as our Governor, to manage the state's fledging democracy and industrialization gait as a continuum of exceptional political necessity.

He is working totally impervious to the challenges of the moment, seeing a bigger picture of how his land would benefit from his relentless contribution.

It's time for us to all rise and support Mr Udom Emmanuel because excellence is not a destination, it is a continuous journey that never ends and if we all take those changes we will achieve greatness only with Right man Mr Udom Emmanuel.
