PDP national chairman,Uche Secondus raised the call that the INEC chairman Mahmoud Yakubu should resign alongside the inspector-general of police Ibrahim Idris. He stated this on Thursday at the just concluded national executive committee (NEC) meeting of the party in Abuja.

As being reported by thecable.ng, the APC spokesman Lanre Issa-Onilu made a statement concerning that this Sunday, He said:

"the PDP in a bid to hide its inadequacies and undesirability as elections approaches, has chosen to populate the public space with unfounded allegations."
