Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has expressed the federal government’s determination at ensuring the wellbeing of the people of the nation.

The vice President however stresses that better times await every Nigerian.

He stated this in Ilorin on Friday when he paid homage on the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, in his palace.

Professor Osinbanjo disclosed that he was in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital to launch the Tradermoni scheme being a small scale economic intervention measure to support businesses across the nation which was established about two years ago.
Professor Osinbajo said the Emir of Ilorin has demonstrated competence as a good image of the judicial profession in the past years stressing that “You are our leader in the legal profession and we are always proud of you.

“You have also ensured that you hold Ilorin as an indivisible community since your enthronement over two decades ago. With these and many more, it shows that God is indeed with you.”

In his remarks, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, thanked the Vice President for his visit and commended the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari for their interventions and efforts towards boosting the economy of the nation.

The vice president who was recieved with fanfare on arrival in Ilorin for the launching of the scheme at Ipata market and new mandate market.
