The more the states they create the more they disunite us, i don't know why these politicians will never stop asking for trouble, and come to think of a Lagoon state for Lagos i think it doesn't make any sence at all, the PDP ha s seen they cannot take Lagos from AC hence they want to create something new out of it, and take a piece of it, strategic thinking indeed. Loosers they always would be.

There is no need for state creation except to balance number of states per region. Otherwise its back to regions.

we don`t need new states. All we need is good governance. When we had failed Banks in this country;the Banks were merged for better management. So lets think in that regard for the fail states after a very good appraisal.

it is clear that we have more states than normal.we should have stopped at the 21 state level and just add bayelsa.the rest is uncalled for.the best way for government to get to grassroots is to enpower the local governments.

Corruption will never cease in Nigeria. Our leaders are cruel and will never cease to add to their problems and not ours. Shameless people.

If at this stage and in the state we are in , the government believes that we need new states, that we need to make a mark in the world by unveiling the world's largest cake when the likes of

india ,Brazil, China, Mexico and Indonesia are becoming the fastest growing economies and that we need to spend billions to celebrate 50 years of frustration and strife , my brothers and sisters

please dont give yourselves high blood pressure because  of this country of ours , there's really no point, just like the titanic we are heading for the iceberg of absolute self distruction . It is so so

heartbreaking.

i just pity those people who still believe that there is still hope in that country they are indeed still living in a fanatasy world  and need to wake up immediately

Lagoon State in the form of the Colony of Lagos exist even b4 Nigeria as a nation existed. What is being agitated for is returning Lagos to its pre-independence status quo.

Nchara: Nigeria needs 6 states ONLY. Two in the SE, one each in the SS, SW, NC and NE and none for NW. So every zone has equal number of states:7. Or we go back to zones (6 zones) and abrogate all the states- actually a preferred option.

Already d northern military n emirs have scattered this country creating unnecessary states that are not economical viable just to favour the north in future.

The only justice we need in nigeria is reduce NW to 6 and increase SE with 1 and make all states generate revenue independently and send 20% to abuja. That way nigeria will grow fast and those northern governors will not just wait every month to collect oil n gas money from niger delta to squander.
