Dr. Enitome E. Bafor of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Benin was recently awarded The Lab Heroes Award 2018 by HELLO BIO UK (https://www.hellobio.com/about-us/).

Dr. Bafor emerged the winner out of 60 scientists worldwide who participated in the competition. Her win placed the University of Benin, Nigeria at the top and scientists in laboratories from Sweden and Italy in second and third places respectively.

Dr. Bafor was offered the opportunity to purchase several laboratory drugs and she was offered a travel grant to any scientific conference of her choice.
