A young man was killed in Anambra by a security officer over N200 extortion fee alleged to be a tax.

Some people said the deceased is a Keke driver while others said he owns a shop at Emodi Plaza opposite Emeka Offer Plaza.

He was killed during altercation with the security man said to be a tax collector.

The tax collector was pounced and nearly set ablaze if not for the timely response of the police.

Timely intervention of the police? Can anybody remind me anytime police ever intervained during jungle justice that virtually take place every day against the ordinary citizens who committed lesser crimes than this? The answer is None, instead they will divert to another road when they get a tip-off that such incident is taking place at a particular road living those involve to be roasted alive. What does that imply? That this people are really the enemy of the people. I would have subscribed a knife or any Sharp object into the bastard at the sight of the police before they approach closer if I were there.

The kind of revenue generation going on in Onitsha today is something else, the task force are ever ready to kill.
