As the weather drops and the festive lights go up, businesses across the nation are ramping up for the biggest shopping season. Consumers are expected to make purchases worth millions of naira before the year runs out. While some may be focused on print ads or direct mail promos (only to be thrown out later), there’s a more modern way to tap into today’s market: messenger marketing. Messenger marketing, or Facebook messenger marketing, is one of the best online marketing ideas for businesses, even better than traditional email marketing. And here, we’ll explain why. What is Messenger marketing? Simply put, Messenger marketing is the use of Facebook messenger to reach, engage, and convert your potential customers. By using Messenger bots and automated messages, you can directly interact with your audience in an intimate but controlled environment. Okay, but why should I use Messenger marketing? Great question. We’re glad you asked. As of September 2018, Facebook sees 2.27 billion monthly active users. No social media website comes even close to a market that size. Messenger alone has 1.3 billion monthly active users, even more than Instagram’s entire audience. Each one could be your next loyal customer. In fact, just two years ago, Business Insider found that users were using the top four messaging apps far more frequently each month than Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn. On top of that, Messenger allows businesses to send intimate, personalized, and rapid responses, all without having to hire a salesman. To top it all off, Drift claims that Messenger is actually 15 times more effective than traditional email marketing at engaging customers. Now that you have an idea of what Messenger can do for your business, here’s what you can actually do with Messenger. 7 Messenger marketing tactics for your business Inform customers about a holiday campaign Provide updates on new or limited time offerings Offer discounts and special promos Engage customers with relevant contents Encourage customers to give and spread the love Use Messenger Chatbot for sales or support Bring in the festive fun 1: Inform customers about a holiday campaign With so many businesses vying for a share of a customer’s attention, it can be difficult to engage your customer on a personal level. Not with Messenger. Once a user lands on your page or follows it, you can send them a message immediately letting them know about your upcoming campaign. Say, for example, that you want to hold a Christmas special on your business in the weeks leading up to December 25th. With Messenger, you can auto-message the customer informing them early on. Something like: “Hello! Looking for a place to get the best deal or services (if you are into service delivery business) for the upcoming season? We’re having our holiday special this month, just use this code to get started!” You can even use Click to Messenger ads, which pop up on a customer’s news feed, Instagram feed, or inbox, and sends you directly to a conversation in Messenger. Not only will they be interested, but they’ll also be compelled to act on the offer. 3: Offer discounts and special promos Messenger also presents the opportunity of rewarding your customers in unique and exciting ways just for connecting with the brand. For example, by getting the customer to message “Promos”, you can offer a special discount reserved for Messenger users! 4: Engage customers with relevant contents Maybe it’s the launching of a new product or opening of a new branch, a special holiday or an anniversary. You want to make sure that your customers have multiple ways to interact with your brand, even on Messenger. With menus in Messenger, you can offer a selection to your audience. Not only does it simplify what their options, but it saves them from having to try multiple messages with zero response. Here are a few ideas on what content you could share within Messenger: Articles and blog posts Relevant points of interest Updates on stock Support on technical questions (regarding purchases, hours, locations) Sales, discounts, promos Many, many more. Encourage customers to give and spread the love Forget expensive commercials and campaigns, all you need to promote your restaurant are your existing customers. So reward them by encouraging them to spread the word! During the holiday season, give your most loyal customers a reward or discount. 5: Encourage customers to give and spread the love (Buy 1 get 1 Offer) Perhaps you can even set up a referral system, where bringing another person gets you a free product/service or a free gift or a special discount. The more people they bring, the more they save, and the more traffic your business gets! Remember to keep it within the theme for it to make sense. When customers see something holiday themed and limited-time only, they’re more impulsive on their purchase behaviour. otodeluxe:It depends on your goal, there are many ways to get thousands of subscribers, if it is an E-commence you run a giveaway campaign on manychat through traffic to messenger ad or using comment growth tool to get subscribers into your manychat, if it is information marketing you can provide them with value when they become subscribers either video course or E-book. Michaelmercy:you create funnels for both digital and physical products using chatbot, run separate ads to the targeted audience to get them subscribed once they because your subscribers you can add them to a sequence but on physical products it is advisable to do a giveaway campaign or a discount using limited time offer for both you can also upsell or cross sell to the audience. But before blasting a cold audience (audience that has not interacted with your bot for more than 24hours) you send them what is called subscription broadcast something like "Hey Mike we are introducing new products to our store we will like to introduce it to you" then you give them option buttons of yes and no once they click yes you send them message that include link to your sales page. Digital products like eBook or video course you add them to a sequence when they become subscribers everyday you send them value added messages like free case studies on your website until the last day of the sequence when you will direct them to your sales page by then they must have trust your sense of judgment on the particular online business you are selling to them and they will happily buy from you or pay for your mentoring. |

ethinoze:You run a PPE ad with JSON growth tool or with Comment growth tool. JSON growth tool get triggered when someone takes action on your ad or post for organic audience, actions like, comment, share and like but comment growth tool in the other hand will get triggered when someone drop a comment in specific keywords you set up in your growth tool. Getting 2000 is possible using any of the growth tools but you have to have the budget for running ad that will bring such huge subscribers daily. |
