SIRTee15:the link you sent to me, it is written there that "Tracking remittances worldwide is difficult because many countries do not track funds that are sent or received. Based on data it is able to collect, the World Bank has used a statistical model to estimate the amount of money coming from each sending country to each receiving country. Because these numbers are estimates, there is some room for error. For example, the total incoming or outgoing remittances for some countries may not be the same as actual remittances" lets be logical, imagine 3.2 billion usd coming into the Nigeria economy as remittance from the UK alone talk less of the so called 22 billion usd remittance that they say nigerians sent home but lets ask ourselves this question? why did we have forex crises recently in nigeria? Even till today nigerian banks dont sell forex. Where did this remittance go to? which sector of the economy All economy grow when citizens consume, with that money sent to various Nigerians bank account, why is there no consumption? and Why is the economy still struggling? When you look at most of this data.you will wonder where this data came from because in reality it is otherwise |
