I don't know the problem with Nigerians, they never learn from past experience. This is the same Abule Egba where pipeline explosion led to the lost of lives and properties in Dec 26, 2006. Those that did the bunkering are long gone but instead of the people to report to the appropriate agency when they knew of this, but the Nigerian mentality (greed) only sees the free access to petrol which leads to the lost of lives and properties. There is enough blames to go round AFAIK. The thing also is that we are not vigilant enough. There is no way the people around were oblivious of the actions of these vandals. But rather than pursue them away from their community, they kept quiet and am sure some of them took part as well.
Also, why are people allowed to resettled close to such pipelines?

Passed there yesterday.

My guys in the area said it was like hell. They woke up to see fire burning on the road. Had to run out fast.

Luckily for them the edge of the flames got to their area and they were able to put it out

People who collected the fuel will be watching now hope karma comes back to them.
