1)You need an MTN Sim that hasn't been in a phone for upto 2months +

get ur sim, dial *131*65#, choose 1k plan for 4gb.... If it tells you not eligible, dat means it won't work, if it tells u sorry operation failed due to insufficient balance, den it's gonna work

3)Go ahead and recharge ur line with 1000 airtime,
