I remember at the beginning of this admin when the same useless lawmakers were crying and shouting @ Fashola, inviting him to their chamber every week for questioning, but iFasholaola called their bluff and refused to appear and sent his deputy instead.

You know why?

Before Fashola, Fashola's 3 ministries used to be the lawmakers go to ministries for slush money via budget padding, but all that stopped when PMB blocked that leakage and gave all 3 ministries to Fashola. They threw tantrums and fabricated rubbish against Fashola, but BRF didn't back down. No more padding via his 3 powerful and funds rich ministries.

PMB saw them coming and promptly blocked them

AZeD1:

Official corruption by the presidency?

Who is the president that hired a certificate forger as minister of finance? You do know forgery is a crime right?

Who is the president that has a minister that hasn't served contrary to the law of the land?

The people who collected bribe are currently in the same party as the president.

I really don't enjoy going back and forth with anti-Nigerian people and unpatriotic elements.

Like seriously @ the bolded? This nation is doomed with all these mindsets

Xisnin:
Fake news from the stable of the nation who knows that many Nigerians will believe their lies and
not ask questions.

Any civilized and informed person knows that Lobbying is an inherent part of a democracy
with separation of power.
Even in advanced democracy like the US, the president must make trade-offs with the legislature
to get his projects approved.

But some caveman who don't understand how government works are angry because the strongest
National assembly in Nigeria's history refuses to rubber-stamp the executive "requests".

The 17 billion naira is not a bribe as no lawmaker received a personal alert based on it.
It was for projects that some lawmakers deemed important to their constituents.

How is this even possible. There's nothing I won't read out Nigeria. I know Secruity votes and constituentcy projects have to eliminated. Its just a slush fund for waste and corruption.

Today, Nigeria is constructing the Lagos - Ibadan railway, for $1.5 billion, but the same corrupt okonjo and jona stole $2.7 billion and gave it to DASUKI/ATM to share with their PDP crooked and corrupt cronies like FFK, Fayose, Metuh and so on.

That money is almost enough to build 2 Lagos Ibadan railway.

The PDP really killed us..

Guy just simmer down, everyone knows for a fact that the NASS has busied themselves with enriching themselves at the expense of the Nigerian people's sovereign wealth.

The reason Saraki and Dogara has been successful in getting the pit of snakes to align with him PDP and APC is based on their shared desire for unreasonable wages and dubious allowances.

My own cousin is a senator and I have other family members and friends who have in the house of representatives. It's a bloody scam this thing called NASS

If you work legally and genuinely, you won't die of hunger. ask the farmers and other honest citizens out there.

Juliusmalema:
And so.

Buhari didn't give and people are dying, hunger everywhere, commodities on the rise.

Who is fooling who?

The moment all these apc and bmc realised that the more they defend buhari, the foolish and lame they look.

No wonder ASUU called apc party of vagabonds.

Infact I dare say that apc is a party of scallywags.
