I believe you've to come up with strong critics about the said office as we were told that lack of Machines and staffs in that territory is the only problem they are facing them for now. Meanwhile, Some staffs made us to understand that the case has been sent to the office of the foreign affairs in Nigeria, they are still waiting for them to address the issue and make the necessary arrangements facing the poor embassy in Rome. Report to the govt. U shouldn't have to pay that much. Diplomats get fired for that.

The Consulate in Atlanta is not any different, I called one day and d woman was obviously on speaker phone and it sounded like she was in kitchen cuz I could hear all kinds of utensils and stuff, Then they close at 2pm for the day and dont attend to anyone after that so help me ask where I will go in an Emeergency when my consulate closes at 2pm

As a Nigerians we all have to know our rights; It is even an advantage if you are outside Nigeria. Go to the Nigeria High Commission there shout at them try to pull crowd they will be ashame and they will not want to let 2 hears hear about it or Nigerians back home then they will answer and honor you as a Citizen

Not all Nigerian embassy is bad, i got my e-passport under a wk in london, i did not pay anybody apart from the normal fees everybody pays.

Many Nigerian embassies are doing a great job under a very difficult conditions, dealing with we Nigerians is a hard job, [b]s[/b]ometimes we make the job even more harder for the embassy officials.

It is a shame that we carry our corruption from Nigeria to another country.

^^^ You are talking as if they give you Visa to live in Afghanistan, You will turn down the offer, Does it mean that everybody going to Italy is for Ashawo trade. Ashawo business is far and wide depending on the impression you're looking at it. Though the way it sounds when in Nigeria is too strenuous to the ear, but seeing things with our eyes matters allots. Those that gratified in that act as you said are few, and as well paint the others that are sincere Black. Italy has many to offer depending on the class you institute yourself as in other developed countries. You can't make your discernment base on the fact that everybody in a given locality is noted by the awful conduct known back home. It is everywhere, even back home is more unsafe when compared to those living outside homes. Just that Italy/France are recognized for their love for women. I can tell you the truth about them. They love a woman to stay beside them even while working and if there is not a lady by their side, they will paste a poster of a unclothed woman in order  for the said intention to ginger their performance capacity while working. I have come to accept that precept that without women in this planet, We will lack many things.

Nobody is denying the fact that some embassies are bad but Nigerians are hard to deal with, we want to do things 'our' own ways with no regard to normal procedures, some embassies have to stand their ground else some of us will walk all over them.

When dealing with an African government, Save all the beer you drink upon traveling outside and simply get a 10year passport validity. You are now at their mercy in the name of a one year passport

And how about the Nigerian Embassy here in Moscow? They duped Nigerians here of issuing passports which up til date 4 morhan a year has not been received. I was shot in the leg by a Russian and the only advise the stupid consular Mr. F.O. Idigbe could offer is "that is one of the implications of living in a foreign land, ", despite my status as a permanent resident. I actually don't know if really is a curse to be a Nigerian.

empty words are very uninteresting to every matured mind, because FACTS remain the only basic foundation and evidence of every reasonable discussion. in 2007, Nigerian embassy was very free from corruption, especially for those that has every legal document needed for the services, which are,legal permit and authentic international passport. the embassy officials made they money through those that got passport by sendings. or passports without visa, or those applying for the first time. simple because they cannot prove how they entered Italy.
now passport sent from Nigeria is no longer in existence. every passport applicant has to pay the illegal money to embassy officials.

Nigerians with good embassy has also came to confess openly. so it is not the matter of Nigerians but the embassy officials.
what is the offence of Nigerians? that they cannot get the appointment through phone calls as instructed by the embassy website. that they have to pay embassy officials, in the name of emergency to get appointment. since the embassy is giving appointment only to emergency people, because of their payment. let us call a spade a spade, and not a farming instrument. because when you fail to call a spade a spade, that spade will come to your house.
