Hundreds of Internally Displace Persons (IDPs) are currently protesting in Tsafe town of Zamfara state.

They blocked the major road that linked both Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara state to the remaining parts of the country making thousands commuters to be stranded as the Tsafe town that is 35 KM away from the state capital (Gusau) is the gateway between the three listed states to remaining parts of the country. .

They are protesting lack of taking necessary actions by Government in tackling Armed Banditry that forced them out of their respective homes.

Security Operatives are currently trying their best to contain the protest and open the road for stranded commuters that lined-up outside the town.
