Gov. Udom Emmanuel: A man with a difference.

Following the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Youths and Sports press release yesterday that the managing company in-charge of the International Stadium in the State had embarked on a vacation which they're expected to resume on 13th of January 2019, so the need to adhere strictly to the caution by the Company not to hold any anti-sporting event(s) in the stadium to avoid damage that would be beyond repair upon their resumption. 


 This, the State Government had 're-strategize in holding the annual State's Carols at the Uyo township stadium on the 21st and hence, the APC Presidential campaign flag-off in that same stadium was highly kicked against by the State's Ministry of Youths and Sports, in-order to maintain the sanctity and prospects of the said Stadium. 


But in the order hand, Gov. Udom Emmanuel being a peaceful and dedicated leader who's not ready to sabotage the name and image of the State, had strived effortlessly towards paving a way for a possibility of the APC Presidential ( Buhari) campaign flag-off holding in the same International Stadium and this, he had embarked on a negotiation with the Company, Julius Berger, to send some of their workers to the State in-order for the stadium to be properly taken care of at the end of the flag-off campaign by the APC. We should at this juncture note that the State Government is taking charge of the expenses toward maintaining the said Stadium at the tail end of the APC flag-off campaign. 


Now, the acceptance of Julius Berger to send some of their workers down to the State in obedience to the Governor's plea, and the access given to the APC to hold their Presidential campaign flag-off in the State's International Stadium even at the detriment of the State Government, is one thing you would never find  among the APC fanatics who are ready to unleash fire and brimstone on the world if not allowed to go with what they want. This, the Governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel Gabriel has been able to distinguished himself from desperation, insolence and tyranny. 


This is one thing that most of the Nigerian leaders cannot and would never do. But however, Deacon Udom Emmanuel has put into practice his gospel of peace and respect and thus, distinguishing himself from the likes of Senator Godswill Akpabio, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi and even President Buhari himself who had deprived the opposition party access to the Akwa Ibom State International Airport and other Government's establishments during 2015 presidential campaigns, same in Rivers State and same year, and the recent non access to Senator Rabiu Kwankwoso of Eagle's Square during his Presidential declaration in Abuja some months back respectively. 


This we can also see the difference between the believer of #OnlyGod and desperation/tyranny. 


The difference is clear, and Gov. Udom Emmanuel Gabriel prior to this decision has earned my 100% respect and loyalty.
