I'm still in shock as I type this. Lola was to me a younger sister. Full of life, carefree and lovable. No one, not even the mum, suspected she was depressed. We all were looking forward to a girl who we thought had a great, bright future ahead of her. Alas! she had other plans.

I can say from this point that the mum isn't entirely as bad as she (Lola) made us read. African parents,no doubt, could go overboard in their "parental discipline". We all passed through that phase where we wanted this, but our parents wanted that. This is the case with Lola's issue. But all in all,we'll all 'respect the dead", and wish her RIP.

We will all miss Lola, and I pray the mum is able to handle this.

I will never understand why someone would choose to end their own life. To me, it shows lack of proper reasoning and knowledge of what comes in the afterlife.

To whomever may be reading this, please endeavour to speak to God and anyone you feel care about you if you ever started having suicidal thoughts.

You may also speak to me; but note that I'm not a doctor, psychologist or counsellor. Just try to be close to people that can show real concern and help you see life beyond just one perspective.

We shouldn't hesitate to share our issues with people who love us. It's a shame that this individual had such, but probably never opened up to them.

Most importantly, let's realise that there's always God there when we seem all alone with our problems. He still loves you when no one else seems to.

I can understand that life may not be fair as we hope or expect it to be but death/suicide should never be an option, never. There's life after death and that's what we seem to be forgetting.
Please, never give devil the chance to paint death/suicide in gold for you. U are too beautiful to die now, too strong to commit suicide.

Just like I said, If I am no more please hold my family especially my mum and dad responsible. I have tried to be the best I can be, Stayed award from them just because they blame me for their mistakes and they cant love, help and take care of me like their own.

My mum has made life a living hell for me only because she is bipolar and frustrated. Accusing me of being a witch, trying to bill her and being a cursed child even though my brother is responsible for my education and upkeep.

The only think she helps me with is my feeding money. I have gone out of my way to take care of my mum by giving her food and money but I still end up being her problems. My brother cant stick to his promise anymore best he feels I am not his responsibility and I have my

Suicide isn't even half way of solving any problem, suicide is a sin, there is always a way out, I don't want to start sounding religious....but you only get to the point of suicide when you don't know God. Commiting suicide shows the person doesn't even deserve the life. Taking your life means you re going to a worst place.
