If any Presidential candidate of any party makes allegation of corruption and personal enrichment against President Buhari that is serious, and EFCC should step in to inspect what is behind the allegation and find truth or false as the case may be. Now, if a former VP of Nigeria and also a Presidential candidate is the one pushing the allegation repeatedly, I believe citizens should be concerned why EFCC is not already in contact with Atiku and demanding to know all he knows. Atiku should now be treated under the whisteblower programme and efforts made to validate and act on his allegations. What do you think? 3 Likes |

For those interwsted in the full lengthy version.... The Federal government of Nigeria introduced a whistle blowing policy in 2016 based on the Whistleblower Act. The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, said that this is to enable patriotic citizens report criminal acts such as mismanagement or misappropriation of public funds and assets, like properties and vehicles; financial malpractice or fraud; collecting / soliciting bribes; corruption; diversion of revenues; unapproved payments; splitting of contracts; procurement fraud; kickbacks and over-invoicing. It also includes: violation of company’s policy, law regulation, or a threat to life, national security or public interest. |

haladadon: As an ex VP Atiku is drawing pension from FG already. Because of the status he is considered a friend of the court (and by extension Law Enforcement). He has an obligation to come forward with the information free of incentive. |
