Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom earlier today for a rally marking the kick-off of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign themed Next Level.

On the President’s entourage are chieftains of the party led by the national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole; National Leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osibanjo and a host of others including some states governors..

Adams Oshiomhole and governor Rochas Okorocha who have been at loggerheads with other over the outcome of the APC governorship primaries in Imo state, appeared to avoid each other and gave themselves distance at the rally holding in Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. 

Okorocha had earlier said his ‘issue’ with Oshiomhole was that he allegedly “stole the mandate” of the people of the state and “gave it away for reasons best known to him.”

The governor stated that the name APC presented as its governorship candidate was not the choice of people of the state. According to Okorocha, Oshiomhole gave the party’s tickets in the state to people who are not members of APC.

Buhari has redefined political campaigns in Nigeria, moving forward, I pray people realize his efforts, just imagine, if it were to be in the past, all hotels I Uyo would have been fully booked, all airlines flight would have cancelled all flights going to any other part of South East or South South simply because there is a presidential election campaign flag off and several millions of dollars would have exchanged hands.

Thank God, under the Buhari administration, all that has changed, politics is now being gradually being driven by passion and belief in the Buhari candidature.

Very soon we shall get the process right.

See all of them shining 32 in a mega stadium built by the pdp administration of godswill judas akpabio...They will then climb the podium and shamelessly claim the pdp did nothing for sixteen years and then go home and say they have integrity.
