40000mw is going to cost nothing less than $8 billion ,at least 25 stations and it will take 3 years for all of them to be completed with ⅓ coming online in the 1st year excluding the upgrade and construction of new transmission infrastructure and its down end markets.
Nigeria does not have that kind of capacity to venture into this.
(although pmb administration has blown away $5.8 billion China loan on hydro power in taraba state which is 3000mw for 6 years alone)
