2017 & 2018 has been a year of terror for the people of Ikorodu, Lagos as every night was a watch-night for the residents due to the terror of the popular badoo group.
The group started started with the *rape of an elderly woman in the oshorun area of Ibeshe, Ikorodu where they wrote on the wall "badoo" and then rumors were that they went after women whose husbands were away from home. Later on, they started visiting homes with entire family asleep in which sources made us know that they used sleeping sprays and burglary cutter to gain access.
Their killings started with the killing of a pregnant woman after raping her and then went on to an elderly woman whose husband was away for a while. They would sneak in at the middle of the night, spray something in the air and go through the burglary.
Their story became a pathetic one when they on a Monday night visited a christian family in Ibeshe-titun, Ikorodu and killed the whole family by smashing them with a big stone on the head. Their only child/son(Jonathan) was said to be preparing for his Waec exam the next morning when he dozed off wearing a ear-piece device. The father of the house also being the only son amongst daughters of his own father. It was such a Loss and wipe off of an entire generation and Lineage.....

At this point, the wrath of God started with some of them running out to confess and vomiting blood and some of them caught and mobbed. It was after some months that their central shrine was located and exposed and their sponsors apprehended forcing their activities to cease in Ikorodu till date.

It has been Peace and Rest ever since in Ikorodu as the residents can now sleep with their two eyes closed.
