EDGEof2MORO: The aroma is just how they smell in Nigeria but here, I feel so self conscious whenever I prepare albeit occasionally cos it has its own unique smell which is an obviously different from the food here |

irijuola: Intruging. If the food smells the same way it would in Nigeria, then why are you considering the smell as repugnant because you are in a different country? Inviting others to "taste and enjoy" the meal will be such a hard sell. If your housemates make meals that "smell" and you can cope, best believe they should be able to cope with yours as well. As long as you are not a bad cook, get in the groove, and cook the Nigerian cusine away! ednut1: Quite surprised by the things I read about this 3rd world country filled with snow. Just to confirm, how obvious would you say the bias is, and in what places would you consider it rampant? 1 Like |

autolearner:learn how to read. Some landlords in a small area. You now want to generalize. If you are staying in someone’s basement food aroma will be an issue. Once you get your money up you move to your own apartment na. Its a third world with snow so why are you on this thread . Abeg get out 1 Like |

Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant Part 2 by ankaravillageng: 7:08am On Oct 14, 2021 |
Visit visa at this time is taking quite long to process, if I'm correct no less than 200 days and knowing Canada you might not even get the visa. If the man is serious let him come to Nigeria, marry you then go back and file for you. Patience is key for anyone that wants to go to Canada these days. 1 Like |

Egooyibo111:I think you can’t work legally with visitor visa. Except illegally when in such situations u would get paid in cash and if caught it won’t end well. |

Egooyibo111:canada visit visa doesn’t work that way. Its one of the hardest visas to get. They will not give you based on a man sending you invitation, they will only give you based on your situation ( good job in Nigeria, fat bank account, strong home ties like immediate family, business or houses etc. Let him come over and marry you. If he is serious. No other way. If you dont have expess entry requirements you can work towards it or ask the man to help you with work permit. 1 Like |

Egooyibo111: He cannot even help you with work permit and like ednut said, Canada visit visa is the hardest, don't even go there...... Tell your man to come over to Nigeria and marry you, then with marriage certificate the rest will be history 1 Like |
