In February, 2017, investors confidence in Nigeria remained high as the $1 billion Euro bond issued by the Federal Government was over-subscribed with orders in excess of $7.8 billion.
In November, 2017, Nigeria raised $3 billion in a two-part international bond sale as it funded a fiscal deficit and reduced its local-currency debt burden.
In November, 2018, the Federal Government raised $2.86 billion in a three-series international bond under its Global Medium Term Note Programme with an excess order booking of over US$9.5 billion
Nigeria also successfully raised its external debt requirements for the 2018 budget at a cost considerably lower than many of its peers across Sub-Sahara Africa

lol.

This guy must be living in a utopian Nigeria.

Even the President himself is not this optimistic which is why he blames the pdp for the terrible state of the economy right now.
