The driver of a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was lucky to be alive after his SUV crashed from a 3-storey glass garage above and landed on its roof .

He was reported to have lost control of the G-Wagon after stepping on the accelerator instead of the brake pedal prompting the rugged military-like SUV to crash through the glass exterior wall.



Luckily, no other persons were harmed and cars damaged in the crash, even though the off-roader flew into the busy Los Angeles road at around 11p.m

Investigators said that it was not a DUI case and the driver,who suffered multiple injuries, will recover in hospital.
