Hello NLanders

I am a final year student who is aspiring to be a Farmer(fish farming). I would soon graduate and the problem we face in our country is unemployment. I don't want to be one of those who keep writing CV's, going for one interview or another.

My dad is an agriculturist ,he inspired my flair for farming although he thinks I don't know anything about farming. I want to prove him wrong.

So back to my ambition in being an expert fish farmer. I need ur advice on how to begin. Although I have heard it is capital intensive.

Suggest and advise me on how to begin, what to expect in terms of challenges and so on. And also I don't have much capital.

the first step to fish farming with limited funds is to start fish hatching first, learn it and start, its not so capital intensive you can go to poultry/fish feed retailers and paste flyers of your product, then you can raise funds and select shooters for your own farm and start.
