The alleged rivalry between Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage has been going on for a while albeit in a form of cold war.



Just before 2018 ended, Yemi Alade triggered what would be remembered as ‘bum bum’ war with Tiwa Savage. In a new report by Sunday Scoop, Taiye Aliu, Yemi Alade’s manager has cleared the air that his artiste isn’t in any rivalry with any of her colleagues especially Tiwa Savage.

“We are focused solely on music; we have no time for rivalry or anything of that sort. The sky is so big for everyone to fly. Do you think there is a rivalry between Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote? Yemi Alade doesn’t consider Tiwa Savage a rival.”

In his appraisal of the past year, the talent manager said his artiste had an amazing hear as she took her music further to new places.

“The only thing is to put in more work; it is never enough. As an artiste, you will always want to have more impact on your community and the world. Right now, Yemi Alade is not just a Nigerian but an African ambassador too.”

He added that she doesn’t take personal but “all she does is to work harder.”
