Senate President Bukola Saraki has claimed that there is monstrous fraud within the oil sector.

In an interview with Channels Television’s Seun Okinbaloye, the senate president said applying subsidy on supposition that Nigeria expends fifty million liters (50million liters) of fuel a day, is fraudulent.

Saraki said in the Jonathan administration subsidy depended on a supposition that the country expends 30million liters of fuel day by day.

He included that he and some other lawmakers cautioned that the Jonathan government was supporting corruption “by over bringing in fuel and due to that we were losing a lot of money”.
