This is one addiction so many young people ate fighting. And time and again, there's been many thread on this topic already.
Here's my little coin for you.
Take an active step.
1. Write a plan and mark everyday that passes by without you masturbating or watching porn. It gives you a sense of challenge to beat.

2. Limit the level of security and privacy you set around yourself. E.g make your room more accessible. If your house has very good security, don't close your door when you're about to sleep at night.

3. Find someone who won't judge you, someone you trust very well and confide in them. Let the person monitor your progress in the challenge you give yourself in number 1.

4. Don't be too harsh on yourself every time you fall into it and don't try ti give up. Always be convinced that you'll overcome it.

5. Find activities you can do to move your life forward and engage in daily commitment to that activity. Masturbating reuqires passion and you can drive that passion to something else.

Overall, if you're really convinced you want to stop it, I believe you will really stop it though it's not going to be easy.

Consider yourself dead to Pornography ( Sexual immorality) through Christ Jesus according to the scripture. The dead do not view pornography. This is what I normally do with immoral desires that tries to take me captive.

I second what @traihit said. But in addition I think you need to resolve "Why you want to Quit" first before you can really achieve anything. Religious persons have offered you a source of reason. It works, I've seen it. Not because of who ever it is you believed but because of the "reason why" you need to is resolved. If you don't have a profound reason your Brain will just be playing you like tennis

I don't know if you are a Christian trying to obey God or if you are an unbeliever just trying to get a hold on your life. I am a Christian committed to following the Lord Jesus wherever He leads me so I tend to answer from that perspective.

On the one hand, as weird as it may seem, I completely agree with Martinez19 who I believe is an atheist. It is us who choose what we do, not someone else. If you are addicted to pornography, it is because you have been addicting yourself to it. If you want to stop, it is you who must stop it as well. Nothing else will really work.

On the other hand, for Christians, even willpower will go only so far. That you never view pornography is hardly a win because Satan will always find something else to cripple you with. The real thing Christians are called to do is to grow in the Truth, that is, to learn the Bible from a spiritually gifted and qualified Bible teacher and believe it and apply it to their lives and finally help other believers who are willing to be helped to do the same. If any believer aggressively pursues this, they will find that their ability to say no to sin of all sorts increases as well until gross sins like these ones pretty much disappear altogether from their lives.

Either way, you do have to make a choice and hold yourself firmly to it.

get rid of your internet enabled phone and get a Nokia, the kind that has torchlight at the end and can only receive calls and send SMS.

then get rid of your laptop or install filters on it, lock with an unintelligible password that you'll never remember.

Get rid of your present crop of "friends" especially those who talk dirty and have no problem viewing porn.

Caution your eyes when you are in public and caution your mind when you are alone.

Be active during the day. You'll sleep better at night for it.

Meditate. Meditate. Meditate.

Porn destroys everything it comes in contact with, even marriages too are destroyed by porn.

It also destroys your sense of self worth.

Oh and btw, GET RID OF YOUR PORN STASH.

that's right..that's what I did many years ago.I discover the power of the mind...try filled ur mind wit positive things..and u will kill that urge ..

If you really want to quit watching porn, then the most important step you should take is to find something doing. Not just anything that would occupy your mind for the moment, I mean something creative, something that motivates you to work hard. Discover your passion and work on it. When you discover something you are passionate about, you tend to use your free time to work on it rather than just staying idle. Boredom is dangerous.

But if you can't find something you are passionate about or even something that would keep you busy for the time being, and then the urge to watch porn rears its head, then Bro just take a walk around or go stay with people. Just avoid being alone at that particular point in time.

And if you still don't feel like going anywhere and you just want to be alone, not with people, then just go to bed and force yourself to sleep.

You could also ditch your smartphone if your addiction to porn is strong, sell your laptop if you have to and go get yourself a Nokia torchlight or something (I am serious) at least with that you won't have access to the Internet and you can't even collect videos from friends cus there is no Xender on it and it has no Bluetooth.

If you're married then you are watching porn because you are not getting the right quality and/or quality that you expect from your wife. Talk to your wife and express your needs to her. Then both of you can work on the way forward or call a therapist.

Turning to porn to fulfill your fantasies is not a healthy and sustainable practice.
