First of all, this your thread is very relevant because I have begun to question that myself...in regards to you.
Are you a Christian? Notice that I never called you anything but a Christian..cause "at first" that was what I believed you to be...

I see that you dug through a past situation (on a former thread of mine) where I stated that I was afraid...
You have chosen to "cut" and "paste"....interestingly.
Out of all that I said on the thread, you pick the one statement where I said I was afraid....which was true to the depth of my soul.
Makes me question your motives...but I'm not mad at you...honestly.
This is "payback" for me trying to help you in your errors... (and if not, then please accept my apology).
My motives were pure when I gently rebuked you on your thread....and I believed that others were too.
Let me say this:
1) Yes... I was afraid (extremely afraid) and make no apology for that.
2) Yes...some disciples of Christ had moments of weakness..as did I.
3) Yes...I still believe and trust in God...and love Him just as He loves me.
4) I'm extremely encouraged when I think about how all of the disciples who each had some imperfections in character at times, (excluding Judas who committed suicide) ultimately died as martyrs for their faith.
Peter (who denied Christ 3 times..yet became a mighty force in Christ' work establishing the first church) in the end of hid life, even asked to be crucified upside down..because he felt unworthy to die as his Lord and Savior had died.
Special note: John the Revelator, the disciple whom Jesus loved, was banished to the Island of Patmos...and brought us the awesome book of Revelation (so he didn't die a martyr's death), but he still experienced suffering in a sense.

Now let me ask you this?
Are you a Christian?
If yes, why not offer me a short prayer for my moment of weakness or future weaknesses?
I'm sure that I may have some more moments of weakness..and would appreciate your battle for me to overcome "fear" of a man harming me...
Also, please pray for him as well.
Don't forget that while you are "preaching and teaching the Word", you still need to have a "heart".

Mobilla, how could you possibly question a genuine intention of me trying to help a sister as being ulterior motivated?

Yes I know we might have our different Interpretations and opinions about certain things, but one thing I've never questioned is if you were a righteous christian, for I have been able to more or less establish that from your speech irrespective of such differences.

What I said to you was a gem of a knowledge I got from my walk with God at the highest level of faith for that is something that motivates me, and gives the courage to keep going in spite of any fears as such that I may have, for it's not a bad thing to be afraid but to stop because of that fear, as I have learnt from the instances of those that were before us.

I used to be a righteous christian but not any longer because I had long ago upgrade to become a true disciple of Jesus, so that's possibly why you have not be able to understand my speech.

You that has been on my neck, telling me things such as that it wise for me to keep my mouth close, is now questioning my motives for trying to encourage you in your faith, by telling you not to be afraid of being afraid?

How is that possibly a pay back? Did I point out or magnify your mistake or criticize you for anything you did?

I am not one that rubs it in when someone makes a mistake, but there was a statement you made about being afraid for your life, but instead of you appreciating my effort in that respect, you are viewing it as a payback.

So what if I had instead told you it was foolishness for you to speak or wisdom to for you keep your mouth shut and not say anything, what would you then say? That I'm the devil?

Sorry, i'm not here to make you have to pull your hair once more oh, but just feel I have to let you know my opinion about you thus far.

I believe that if the church had much more of your kind, though it wouldn't be perfect, but it would be much closer to what it's supposed to be.

So would have loved to have taken my interactions with you beyond the boundaries of this platform, but I don't think that would be a very wise idea since i'm yet going to be getting on your nerves, even more so in this respect.

Therefore I think it's best to keep you at a safe distance meanwhile, so that I can finish my work as such first.

Maybe when i'm through then I can start to think about such.

I was speaking about the war on "Christianity"...as evidenced by this section and the world-at-large.
The war comes from a multitude of folks
(be it through fanatical or some forms of misinterpretative Christianity, Islam, Indigenous/Traditional...and my favorite...the Atheist bunch).
Yeah...and yet I can have "0" hatred towards any of the above-mentioned. It gets deeply frustrating at times...but I understand that God died for every last one of us on this earth. Prayer is what I am compelled to do for them daily...and I will.
The awesome news is that some of them will become or return to the faith in the end!

You'd be surprised that some of them atheists have already started coming back(one of them confirmed), and it's thanks to some of those same "provocative" threads of mine.

See I like you, and it's easy because I like good people regardless of any such differences we may have, so I also like for good people to remain that way because they are so much in short supply on earth.

So I try to do my best encourage them to keep them that way.

Feel free to come anytime, and even though we may fight, quarrel and disagree, it's not in hate but in love.

Hence I prayed for you today, and yeah also that my enemy, even though I didn't plan it, it's came from who I am, in accordance with my Master's commandment.
