Please let's always try to reason beyond sentiments, the CJN has admitted he forgot to make declaration of his assets, he also faulted himself that he did not include his standard chartered bank accounts in SCN 000014 because he believed they were not opened.(Ignorance is not an excuse to escape liability for violating the law) as a Chief Justice, he knows this.

Now a balance of N3, 221,807.05, $164,804.82, 55,154.56 Euros were respectively found in those accounts and he has been scheduled for arraignment at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, just as the law stipulates, and everybody is raising propaganda on his behalf, when the man himself is not.
The CJN has the resources to defend himself abeg.

If the opposition had been the one to level this allegations against the CJN and Buhari failed to do anything, you guys would still cite his failure to act this close to elections, because the CJN is an ally he wants to use at Tribunals.

Zombie show me the video where he said so.

What happened to the individuals under this same government that have grossly violated the runnings of the government yet this president has not done the needful? Be careful when you make utterances such as this. Be wise, Buhari never meant well for this country and will never.

Onnoghen’s arraignment was sequel to a petition filed by a civil society group, Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative (ARDI), accusing the CJN of false asset declaration and other sundry allegations.

He is also being accused of maintaining Domiciliary Accounts which comprised Dollar Account, Pound Sterling Account and Euro Account which were alleged to be contrary to relevant laws, especially for public office holders.

It was also learnt that the FG in addition plan to file a motion on notice praying the tribunal to order the CJN to vacate office and recuse himself from any aspect of the case as chairman of the National Judicial Council so as to prevent alleged interference in his arraignment and trial.

We hope that the right judgement be delivered at the end of it all.
A better Nigeria is all we want.

God bless you. When will this nation come out of this mess for God's sake. Let stand with one voice and say no to corruption no matter who is involved. An NGO petitioned and the person in question(CJN) owned up instead of Nigerians to stand and ask him to face the law, we're politicising it. What concerns PDP in this or are they telling Nigerians that the man is their party member. That tells us the type of govt they'll run if given the chase again.

Did buhari resigned when he was accused of not having WAEC?
Did Osinbajo resigned when he was fingered in NEMA embezzlement?

Until we start treating all of them the same way and not set double standards, that's when we'll make progress.

If buhari didn't resign, why should CJN?

That my point, we need to change the whole orientation of the system

Mr. President and his antics. The CJN has not been corrupt until less than 40 days to the presidential election. Why is Mr. President trying so hard to spoil everything in this country before he vacates seat? He knows fully well that this unbiased Judge will stand against his rigging and he's trying to punish him. Anyone voting APC next month hates this country.
we will still vote APC, you all can go to hell,we don't care

I bloody don't care about the judges issues but what am worried about is the speed to convicting him without a due process....

I feel they wanna nail him because of the court outcomes of rivers APC crisis....I have a strong feeling that its not unconnected...OK when the former finance minister declared a fake NYSC document , after she was busted, what did they do to her? Nothing.... They packaged her properly and made her leave for the UK.... What of babachir...has he been arraigned? Its the double standards that also gives a huge concern
but she did vacate her seat then, why should the judge be exempted from justice?

Why the rush to prosecute 40 days to election for an incident that occurred more than 3 years ago?

No matter what Buhari does now, you people will find a way of linking it to the forthcoming election.

Your hatred is becoming very hard to hide. Even if Buhari catches the devil today, your hatred will not make you see the benefits.

Don't mind them.

Someone was even asking why it is happening 40 days to election as if that is an issue.

They are making it seem like Buhari should not do anything again because election is near.

Did you see the speed at which the CJN was arraigned to court? Within 4 days after the petition was received... Did they do that to Kemi? Rather she was pampered and packaged back to the UK...Double standards

See, i know Buhari wants to rig (everyone does) by having INEC + IGP + CJN....

But why the fvck will a CJN forget to disclose $700k out of $740k found in his account ? Since 2005 ?

$740,000 = N226 million by the way...Someone here even said $ 3 million

I don't blame Buhari at all, the CJN delivered himself into the hands of his "enemies"
If Buhari will win with landslide as predicted then he doesn't need to worry about the CJN. Nawao

Man claims they want to nail him because of the Rivers APC issues! Why didn't they nail the INEC boss himself that didn't allow APC field any candidate in Zamfara & Rivers before it even got to court in the first place despite the APC being the ruling party! You no see say your logic funny!

Ok, oga, will you be satisfied if the CJN is just asked to resign without prosecution as was the case with Adeosun?

First and foremost your post is wrong...INEC boss was not the one that did not allow APC to field any candidate... In those states you mentioned...go back and read your post properly..now whose logic according to you is funny?

Do unto others what you want them to do unto you....Read again and get understanding
