Saraki Reacts To Attack On His Residence by Ebullience(m): 6:46pm On Jan 13, 2019
Senate President, Bukola Saraki has reacted to the attack on his Agbaji Ilorin family residence by thugs.

DAILY POST had reported that political thugs reportedly working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State on Sunday attacked the Agbaji Ilorin family residence of Saraki.

They opened fire on residents of the area, wounding at least 11 persons in the process.

The thugs also destroyed about 50 cars parked at various locations within Agbaji Quarters.

Saraki visited his hometown to sympathize with the victims of the attack.

Saraki, while urging the people of Agbaji to remain calm and not retaliate the attack, pledged to repair all the vehicles destroyed by the thugs.

In a statement by his Special Assistant on New Media, Olu Onemola, Saraki promised to tighten security in the area.

The Senate President also visited the General Hospital, Ilorin to see victims of the attack who are currently receiving treatment.

He added that the unfortunate incident of yesterday had justified his earlier claim that there were threats to his life, his family and supporters.
